Ellen Pompeo Honors Healthcare Workers As Grey’s Anatomy Resumes Production
2020, on one hand, has been a great year for TV streamers as they had all the time in the world to watch new shows. However, on the other hand, it was quite a disappointing year for many as their favorite shows went off-air due to the pandemic. ‘Grey’s Anatomy’ was one of the show that had to stop its production and film its finale earlier than scheduled.
But, the good news is that the show has now resumed it production. And, before anything else, Ellen Pompeo (Meredith Grey) made it a point to honor the healthcare workers. She paid tribute to them by updating a snap from her shoot on Instagram. She wrote in her caption that she is grateful for all the healthcare workers who have saved million lives during the pandemic.
She mentioned that more than 7000 healthcare workers have died due to COVID-19. She expressed her gratitude for all those still fighting. She says that ‘Grey’s Anatomy’ season 17 is dedicated to all those workers and she hopes it does them justice.
Ellen was one of the very first celebrities to thank all the healthcare workers when thing started going downhill in March. And, she is one of the first celebs again to pay her respect, love, and gratitude now that she is back on the sets.
